GENERAL BILL by Ethics and Elections ; Carlton
Elections; revises provisions re timeframes for filing election protests & requests for manual recounts; eliminates protests of election returns in circuit court; revises timeframe for filing contest of election; specifies grounds authorized for contesting election; specifies that contestant is entitled to immediate hearing; amends provisions re election boards; requires deputy sheriff at each polling place, etc. Amends Ch. 102.
