CS/HB 1111: Sexual Violence in Prisons
GENERAL BILL by Corrections ; Roberts-Burke
Sexual Violence in Prisons; creates "Protection Against Sexual Violence in Florida Jails & Prisons Act"; prohibits sexual misconduct by any employee of state agency or private contractor of state; requires DOC to develop course re sexual assault identification & prevention as part of correctional officer training program; requires dept. & county & municipal detention facilities to provide orientation program & counseling, etc. Amends Chs. 944, 951.
