Dependent Children/Representation; provides legislative intent re providing competent legal representation for children in state custody; requires that Statewide Public Guardianship Office create pilot Attorney Ad Litem Program in Broward County; authorizes office to contract with private or public entity to operate pilot program; requires that court direct pilot program to assign attorney ad litem; provides for assigning attorney ad litem to represent child's wishes, etc. APPROPRIATION: $1,860,583.
