GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Lee ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Geller
Viatical Settlements; redefines terms "viatical settlement contract," "viatical settlement provider," "viator," "related provider trust," & "viatical settlement purchaser"; provides for disclosure to viatical settlement purchasers; requires notice of transfer of ownership or change in beneficiary within specified period of time; provides for grace period for unlicensed viatical settlement providers & viatical settlement brokers, etc. Amends Ch. 626. APPROPRIATION: $250,000.
