HB 2405: Municipal Annexation

GENERAL BILL by Community Affairs ; Gay

Municipal Annexation; provides for assumption of independent special district's service responsibilities in area that is within district's boundaries & that is annexed by municipality; provides that municipality may elect to assume such responsibilities; provides for provision of services & payment therefor during specified period if municipality & district are unable to enter into interlocal agreement, etc. Creates 171.093.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law
