GENERAL BILL by Health, Aging and Long-Term Care ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Silver ; Latvala ; Klein

Generic & BrandName Drug Formulary; requires Board of Osteopathic Medicine, Board of Medicine & Board of Pharmacy to provide recommendations & submit report to Legislature concerning formulary for generic & brandname drugs; requires removal of specified drugs from said formulary; provides that act does not amend existing law re physician's authority to prohibit generic substitution by writing "medically necessary" on prescription, etc.
