GENERAL BILL by Meek
Florida Title Loan Act; (THIS BILL COMBINED IN CS/S1834,694) creates said act; requires licensure by Banking & Finance Dept. to act as title loan lender; provides for application for licensure; requires bond, nonrefundable application & investigation fees, & fingerprinting; provides for acquisition of interest in licensee under certain circumstances; specifies acts that constitute violations for which certain disciplinary actions may be taken, etc. Amends Ch. 538. APPROPRIATION: $500,000.
Effective Date: 10/01/2000 except as otherwise provided
