CS/SB 850: Schools/Instructional Materials

GENERAL BILL by Education ; Cowin

Schools/Instructional Materials; prescribes duty of school boards to provide instructional materials; defines term "adequate instructional materials"; changes references to DOE to Education Commissioner re certain duties re selection & adoption of said materials; establishes procedures for determining accuracy of instructional materials, correcting errors in content, & removing inaccurate instructional materials from state-adopted list, etc. Amends Chs. 233, 230, 229.512.
