GENERAL BILL by Law Enforcement & Crime Prevention ; Family Law & Children ; Murman ; Sublette ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Bullard ; Dockery ; Brown ; Lynn ; Littlefield ; Fasano ; Feeney

Child Welfare; revises confidentiality of recorded central abuse hotline calls re child abuse, neglect, or abandonment; provides circumstances in which officer or employee of judicial branch is not required to report child abuse, abandonment, or neglect; exempts judges from prosecution for failure to report; clarifies language re initiation of protective investigations & criminal investigations, etc. Amends Chs. 39, 383.402, 409.
