CS/SB 1120: Voting Systems
GENERAL BILL by Ethics and Elections ; Ethics and Elections ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Posey ; Lawson ; Bronson ; Sebesta ; Brown-Waite ; Dyer ; Constantine ; Carlton
Voting Systems; modifies specifications for ballots; eliminates references to punchcard ballots & devices; prohibits use of punchcard voting systems; requires supervisors of elections & Dept. of State to report on overvotes & undervotes following general election; requires Elections Division to review voting systems certification standards to ensure that new technologies are available & appropriately certified for use, etc. Amends Ch. 101, 97.021, 103.101.
Effective Date: 1/1/2002 01/01/2002 except as otherwise provided
