HB 1345: Program in Medical Sciences (PIMS)
GENERAL BILL by Wilson
Program in Medical Sciences (PIMS); expands PIMS to include FAMU, which shall offer first year of medical education for students in program; specifies minimum number of students to be accepted into program; provides for students to transfer to certain other universities upon completion of first year of study; provides for program to recruit students to serve areas in state that lack sufficient medical services. APPROPRIATION: $1,000,000.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
