GENERAL BILL by Crime Prevention, Corrections & Safety ; Needelman
Corrections Department; revises requirements for DOC re calculating credit allowed to defendant for time served; provides for disciplinary hearing officer rather than disciplinary committee to determine forfeiture of gain-time; requires that department's inspector general review use of force by department employees; redesignates state correctional institutions as state prisons; redesignates community correctional centers as work release centers, etc. Amends FS.
