CS/HB 213: Money Transmitter's Code

GENERAL BILL by Council for Competitive Commerce ; Barreiro ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Kosmas ; Brummer

Money Transmitter's Code; provides penalties for specified violations of Deferred Presentment Act; provides additional grounds for disciplinary action; eliminates authority to assess examination fees; adds fee for authorized vendor or branch locations; provides procedures for recovering damages for worthless checks; requires maintenance of records for time certain, etc. Amends Ch. 560; creates 560.401-.408.
