CS/HB 245: Parole Commission Reform Act of 2001

GENERAL BILL by Council for Healthy Communities ; Brummer ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Sorensen ; Bullard ; Brutus

Parole Commission Reform Act of 2001; creates said act; deletes requirement that said commission have inspector general; requires DOC, rather than Parole Commission or Control Release Authority, to notify certain entities prior to inmate release; provides for deferral of conditional release supervision to probation or community control; clarifies requirement that commission impose restrictions re contact with children, etc. Amends Ch. 947, 20.055, 944.605; repeals 947.175,.177.
