GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance
Property Insurance; eliminates authority of certain municipalities to issue bonds to assist Fla. Insurance Guaranty Association in paying claims re Hurricane Andrew; limits fees that may be charged by public adjusters for claims arising from hurricane or catastrophe; requires insurers to adjust personal lines insurance hurricane claims within specified time periods & to advance funds for additional living expenses, etc. Amends Chs. 166, 626, 627, 631.
