Long-term Care; creates "Nursing Home Facility Whistleblower's Act" & "Assisted Living Facility Whistleblower's Act," respectively; prohibits retaliatory actions from facility or independent contractor against employee for disclosure of certain information; specifies nature of information, to whom disclosed, & persons protected; authorizes civil actions for violation; provides penalties; protects existing rights of employees, etc. Creates 400.0245,.455.
