CS/SB 2192: Solvency of Insurers & HMOs

GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Sanderson

Solvency of Insurers & HMOs; provides for effect of certain DOI orders; revises liabilities that workers' compensation insurer must include on its financial statements; specifies inclusion of certain losses & claims under liabilities of HMO under certain circumstances; provides for investment of funds of HMO in excess of certain reserves & surplus under certain circumstances; defines term "health care risk contract", etc. Amends Chs. 624, 641, 625.041, 627.481.
