Long-term Care; Health, Aging and Long-Term Care (Compare 2ND ENG/H 0703, S 0414, CS/2ND ENG/S 1276, CS/CS/S 1838) Long-term Care; provides legislative findings & intent re needs of state's elderly population; requires AHCA & Elderly Affairs Dept. to submit plan to Governor & Legislature for reducing nursing-home-bed days funded under Medicaid program; requires AHCA to establish nursing facility preadmission screening program through interagency agreement with Elderly Affairs Dept.; establishes Long-Term-Care Policy Office within said dept, etc. Amends FS.
