CS/CS/SB 1056: Crimes Against Children
GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Children and Families ; Smith ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn
Crimes Against Children; imposes additional court cost against persons who plead guilty or nolo contendere to, or who are found guilty of, certain crimes against minors; requires clerk of court to deposit proceeds of court cost into State Treasury for deposit into specified trust fund to be used to fund children's advocacy centers; requires clerk of court to retain portion of court cost as service charge; requires annual reports & report to Legislature. Creates 938.10.
