GENERAL BILL by Gelber
Health Care Insurance; deletes exclusion from application of deceptive & unfair trade practices provisions to DOI; provides that certain consumer protection laws apply to business of insurance; specifies nonapplication to professional medical malpractice insurance; revises certain authorized actions multiple insurers may engage in together; deletes prohibition against forming medical malpractice self-insurance fund, etc. Amends Chs. 501, 624, 627.
