GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Governmental Oversight and Productivity ; Clary

Construction Monitoring; provides that professional firms under contract with DOT to provide specified construction monitoring & inspection services are agents of state for purposes of sovereign immunity; provides that such agents are not employees or agents of state for purposes of Workers' Compensation law; provides that act does not apply to such firm or its employees if accident occurs while employee is operating vehicle, etc. Amends 768.28.
