HB 1269: Budget Stabilization Fund
JOINT RESOLUTION by Greenstein ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Gannon ; Gottlieb
Budget Stabilization Fund; constitutional amendment to require that portion of increase in net general revenue funds collected each year be deposited into Budget Stabilization Fund until said fund is at its maximum level, to require that annual five-year forecast be prepared by Legislature, & to place conditions on approval by Legislature of issuance of state tax-supported debt. Amends s. 19, Art. III; creates s. 19, Art. VII.
