SB 136: Health Insurance/Coverage

GENERAL BILL by Wasserman Schultz

Health Insurance/Coverage; prohibits individual & group health insurance policies from excluding coverage for benefit if determination has been made by U.S. EEOC that exclusion of that benefit under any employer health benefit plan violates Title VII of Civil Rights Act, as amended; applies this requirement to standard & basic health benefit plans issued by small employer carriers & health maintenance contracts, etc. Amends Ch. 627, 641.31.
