GENERAL BILL by Appropriations Subcommittee on Criminal Justice ; Lynn

Juvenile Justice; eliminates requirement that Juvenile Justice Dept. forward information re detained juveniles to Economic & Demographic Research Office; clarifies provisions limiting public availability of court records re children & families in need of services; expands authority of youth custody officers; authorizes child's participation in specified court hearings by telephone or video teleconference, etc. Amends 790.22, 984.06, 287.042, Ch. 985.
