CS/HB 1481: Prescription Drug Protection Act

GENERAL BILL by Homan ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Attkisson ; Murzin ; Robaina ; Roberson, Y ; Sansom

Prescription Drug Protection Act; provides legislative findings & intent re report by Seventeenth Statewide Grand Jury; prohibits purchase or sale of Rx drugs in wholesale distribution in exchange for currency; requires that Rx drug repackagers, nonresident Rx drug manufacturers, & freight forwarders obtain permit from Health Dept. in order to do business; requires Health Dept. to establish website listing certain wholesaler permitholders & pending enforcement, etc. Amends FS.
