CS/SB 1928: Health Care Practitioners/Complaints
GENERAL BILL by Appropriations Subcommittee on Criminal Justice ; Geller ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Argenziano
Health Care Practitioners/Complaints; provides that state prisoner must exhaust all available administrative remedies before filing complaint with Health Department against health care practitioner who is providing health care services within DOC, unless practitioner poses serious threat to health or safety of person who is not state prisoner; requires Health Dept. to be notified if health care practitioner is disciplined, etc. Amends 456.073.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
