SB 2570: Insurance Rate Standards

GENERAL BILL by Geller

Insurance Rate Standards; conforms provisions re regulation by Insurance Regulation Office; provides for director of that office to establish rates prior to their taking effect; provides procedures for such filings; prohibits certain judgments or settlements involving bad faith actions or punitive damages from being included in insurer's rate base or used to justify rate change; requires certain underwriting rules to be filed, etc. Amends 627.062.
