HB 1-D: Medical Incidents

GENERAL BILL by Goodlette ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Bense ; Farkas ; Green ; Hasner ; Spratt

Medical Incidents; provides that Children's Medical Services Act applies to infants receiving compensation under Fla. Birth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Plan; provides limitations on noneconomic damages which can be awarded in causes of action involving medical negligence; provides that action for bad faith may not be brought against medical malpractice insurer if such insurer offers to pay policy limits within specified time period, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $3,767,780.
