CS/SB 1118: Lauren Book Protection Act
GENERAL BILL by Appropriations Subcommittee on Criminal Justice ; Cowin ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn
Lauren Book Protection Act; requires court to prohibit certain offenders from having direct or indirect contact with victim of offense; authorizes court to reconsider orders prohibiting contact in certain circumstances; provides for consecutive sentence to previous sentences imposed for convictions of certain offenses; provides for placement of offense of "aggravated stalking" on offense severity ranking chart, etc. Creates 921.244; amends 784.048, 921.0022.
