SB 1828: Home-invasion Robbery

GENERAL BILL by Smith ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lawson

Home-invasion Robbery; provides additional offense classifications & revises penalties for said robbery; provides that it is first degree felony punishable by term of imprisonment not exceeding life imprisonment to commit said robbery in course of which firearm or other deadly weapon is carried; amends provision re Criminal Punishment Code offense severity ranking chart re home-invasion robberies, etc. Amends 812.135, 921.0022; reenacts 943.325(1).
