SB 1830: Indian Reservation/Criminal Offenses

GENERAL BILL by Smith

Indian Reservation/Criminal Offenses; specifies that state's jurisdiction over criminal offenses committed within Indian reservations does not apply to Indian reservations of Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Fla.; provides exception for such reservations re applicability of civil & criminal laws of state; reenacts provision re transfer of land to United States in trust for Seminole & Miccosukee Tribes, to incorporate amendment in references thereto. Amends 285.16; reenacts 285.061(3).
