SB 1850: Residential Tenancies/Credit Reports

GENERAL BILL by Siplin

Residential Tenancies/Credit Reports; redefines term "landlord" for purposes of specified provisions, to include rental management company, rental agency, or any other person having actual or apparent authority to lease dwelling; limits use of credit reports & credit scores by landlords when renting residential dwelling unit; requires landlord to inform applicant or tenant that credit report or score is being requested for rental purposes, etc. Amends 83.43; creates 83.451.
