CS/SB 222: Delivery of Written Legal Notice
GENERAL BILL by Appropriations Subcommittee on Criminal Justice ; Crist
Delivery of Written Legal Notice; prohibits finding of contempt for failure to appear in response to subpoena that is not delivered by certified mail; revises requirement that certified process servers provide certain information on face of process served; provides for alternative method of notice sent by holder to maker or drawer of check, draft, or order, payment of which is refused because of lack of funds or credit, etc. Amends Chs. 48, 83, 624, 832, 409.
