CS/SB 2268: Workers' Compensation
GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Banking and Insurance
Workers' Compensation; provides members of limited liability companies similar authority to elect exemption from workers' compensation coverage as corporate officers; provides exceptions for limitations on benefits for mental & nervous injuries; provides for carriers & self-insured employers to verify whether benefit recipients are concurrently listed as employees of employing unit; revises penalties re applications for coverage, etc. Amends Ch. 440, 921.0022.
