CS/CS/SB 2288: Unclaimed Property
GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Banking and Insurance ; Clary
Unclaimed Property; revises criteria for presuming as unclaimed certain bank deposits & funds in financial organizations funds owing under life insurance policies, funds held by business associations, & property held in safe-deposit box or other safekeeping repository, respectively; provides presumptions for certain unclaimed demand, savings, or checking accounts in financial institutions with more than one beneficiary, etc. Amends Chs. 717, 212, 322, 395, 723.
