GENERAL BILL by Prieguez ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Cantens ; Harrell
Ephedrine Products/Over Counter; prohibits sale or delivery of products containing ephedrine or ephedra over counter without prescription, subject to certain exceptions; prohibits sale or delivery of dietary supplements or other foods containing ephedrine or ephedra; creates Weight Loss & Athletic Performance Dietary Supplement Review Committee; repeals provision re selling, delivering, bartering, furnishing, or giving weight-loss pills to persons under age 18, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $10,000.
