GENERAL BILL by Posey

Nursing Homes/Defibrillators; encourages each nursing home facility & each assisted living facility to have functioning automated external defibrillator; requires training, maintenance, & location registration; provides immunity from liability under Good Samaritan Act & Cardiac Arrest Survival Act; authorizes CFS Dept. to adopt rules; requires department to arrange for purchase of defibrillators, etc. Creates 400.1425,.4425. APPROPRIATION: $270,000.
