GENERAL BILL by Harrell ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Mayfield ; Negron
Certificates of Need; provides additional conditions for licensure or relicensure of hospitals; deletes provisions re regional area health plans; revises criteria for certificate-of-need review & for issuing licenses to health care facilities & health service providers; revises criteria for nursing-home-bed-need methodology; adds optional exemption for neonatal intensive care units that meet certain requirements, etc. Amends Ch. 408, 395.003.
