GENERAL BILL by Reagan ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Troutman
Local Government Prompt Payment Act; revises provisions re timely payment for purchases of construction services; revises deadlines for payment of subcontractors, sub-subcontractors, materialmen, & suppliers on construction contracts for public projects; provides for timely payment for purchases of construction services by public entity; provides procedures for handling improper payment requests, etc. Amends Chs. 218, 255, 95.11; creates 725.09.
