GENERAL BILL by Culp ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Brown ; Kallinger ; Planas ; Spratt

Stolen Property; creates inference that certain persons accepting used property knew or should have known that property was stolen if property conspicuously displays specified information; reclassifies offenses of cargo theft of first degree & cargo theft of second degree under offense severity ranking chart of Criminal Punishment Code to increase penalties imposed for any such offense, etc. Amends 812.022, 921.0022; reenacts 812.014(1) & (2).
