CS/SB 10-A: Hurricane Deductibles

GENERAL BILL by General Government Appropriations ; Garcia ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn ; Siplin ; Pruitt ; Smith ; Klein ; Argenziano ; Villalobos ; Posey ; Crist ; Wilson

Hurricane Deductibles; provides for Financial Services Dept. to reimburse policyholders of residential property insurance for multiple deductibles applied by insurers for two or more hurricanes; limits maximum amount of reimbursement; prohibits insurers from changing their method of waiving or applying deductibles due to provisions of law providing for reimbursement to policyholders, etc. Amends 627.701. APPROPRIATION: $150,000,000.
