Partial Refund/Ad Valorem Taxation; provides for partial refund of ad valorem taxes on homestead property rendered uninhabitable due to named tropical system; provides procedures & deadlines; provides duties of property appraisers; requires CFO to disburse refund checks under certain conditions; provides for proration of refunds if appropriation is insufficient to cover total amount of requested refunds; defines terms; provides for expiration of act; provides for applicability. APPROPRIATION: $20,000,000.
