Partial Ad Valorem Tax Abatement; provides for partial abatement of taxes on residential property rendered uninhabitable by named tropical system; provides duties of property appraisers in determining uninhabitability; provides duties of tax collectors; requires Legislature to appropriate sufficient amounts to counties & municipalities to hold them harmless from reductions in ad valorem taxes; provides for future repeal; provides for retroactive operation, etc.
