SB 1342: Slot Machines/Revenue Taxes

GENERAL BILL by Geller

Slot Machines/Revenue Taxes; imposes tax on revenues from slot machines located in certain pari-mutuel facilities located in Broward Co. or Miami-Dade Co., as authorized by s. 23, Art. X, of State Constitution; provides for remitting tax proceeds periodically to DOR; provides penalties for failure to timely pay tax on slot-machine revenues; requires that DOR coordinate with Pari-mutuel Wagering Div. in enforcement actions, etc. Amends 849.16.
