Centers of Excellence/Technology; defines term "center of excellence"; provides purposes & objectives of said centers; creates Emerging Technology Commission in Executive Office of Governor & provides membership thereof; provides duties of Fla. Research Consortium, Inc., re review & reporting; requires commission to adopt criteria for evaluating proposals for establishing or expanding centers of excellence, etc. Creates 1004.226. APPROPRIATION: $50,050,000.
