SB 1638: Youth Custody Officers
GENERAL BILL by Smith
Youth Custody Officers; authorizes youth custody officer to take youth into custody if officer has probable cause to believe that youth has escaped from facility operated by or under contract with DJJ or has absconded from supervision of dept.; requires youth custody officer to file certain criminal information & gather evidence for court before delivering youth to certain facilities. Amends 985.2075.
