GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Rich

Residential Tenancies; provides definitions; provides for early termination of lease if victim of domestic violence, sexual violence, or repeat violence elects to leave residential rental property under certain circumstances; prescribes responsibilities of parties; provides that rights of victim may not be waived; prescribes landlord's right to recover possession of dwelling unit upon death of tenant, etc. Creates 83.683; amends 83.59.
