CS/SB 2214: Discount Medical Plan Organizations
GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Saunders ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Wilson
Discount Medical Plan Organizations; revises provisions re licensure requirements to do business as said organization; provides for processing of application for licensure of discount medical plan organization by Insurance Regulation Office of Financial Services Commission; provides that discount medical plan organizations are not subject to Florida Insurance Code for purposes of examination & investigation, etc. Amends Ch. 636.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
