SB 2522: Pari-mutuel Wagering/Horse Breeders
GENERAL BILL by Argenziano
Pari-mutuel Wagering/Horse Breeders; provides that breeders' awards & stallion awards are available to breeders of Florida-bred horses participating horseraces & stakes races; provides such awards are given uniform rates; provides that cap on winnings may limit, exclude, or defer payment on certain classes of races of stallion & breeders' awards; deletes provision that gives priority to imposing such restrictions re cap on winnings; provides severability, etc. Amends 550.26165,.2625.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
