Law Enforcement Department; requires dept. to review other records in addition to criminal history records to evaluate potential buyer or transferee of firearm, including adjudication of mental defectiveness or commitment to mental institution as criteria that prohibit person from purchasing firearm; requires dept. to enter fingerprints of law enforcement or correctional officers into statewide automated fingerprint identification system, etc. Amends FS.

Effective Date: 07/01/2005 except as otherwise provided
